About us

A changing climate needs a different kind of home. Living Giving transforms homes and outdoor spaces into beautiful, ecological and climate-resilient environments — and makes sure the good reaches further than your own garden gate.

Our vision

We imagine a future where homes don't exist separately from nature, but as part of it — spaces where people, plants and animals can all thrive.

Our homes can either be vulnerable to heat, drought, flooding, rising food costs and biodiversity loss — or designed to work with nature to better withstand them.

We start by assessing your space, then design and build the nature-based parts ourselves: indigenous, water-wise gardens, food-growing areas and habitat for wildlife. For technical systems like solar, rainwater harvesting and greywater, we connect you with trusted, certified specialists — and we come back to check that your ecosystem is thriving.

And because we believe resilience shouldn’t stop at the garden gate, every project gives back.

What guides us

01

Personal

No off-the-shelf packages. Every design starts with your space, your goals and the way you live.

02

Nature first

We work with nature, not against it — so your space uses fewer resources and becomes more resilient over time.

03

Rooted in place

Indigenous plants, local conditions and South African realities — heat, drought and heavy rain included.

04

Generous

Part of our profits is reinvested into greener, more food-secure communities.

Our giving model

Giving isn’t an add-on at Living Giving — it’s part of how the business works. The projects we support include:

  • Indigenous planting
  • School food gardens
  • Community food gardens
  • Greener public spaces

Step 1

You transform your home

We design and build a living ecosystem around your home, and connect you with specialists for the technical systems.

Step 2

Part of our profits is reinvested

A portion of the profit from every project goes into community greening and food-garden projects.

Step 3

Communities become more resilient

Townships, schools and other vulnerable areas gain shade, food, biodiversity and resilience to heat, drought and flooding.

For investors & partners

A new category of home service — at the very start.

Living Giving is just starting to trade. We combine a growing homeowner need — resilience against heat, drought and rising food costs — with a built-in community-impact model. If you’re interested in investing, partnering or supplying, let’s start a conversation.
